Master Bathroom Reveal

Ok, so as you probably know, our bathroom was the first room that we renovated.  This began in September and they finished in November, however they didn’t complete their punch list until December.  No words can describe my love for our new master bathroom.  Even though it is a lot smaller than I anticipated, and we decided against the gold hardware and finishes, it still is absolutely gorgeous.

If you are wondering why it has taken so long for me to post this reveal, it’s because David finished painting it last night.  I talked about this before, but we were 100% set on using Sherwin Williams Repose Gray.  We used it at Compass Pointe, and just assumed we would love it as much in this house.  Before even sampling it in the bathroom, we told our contractor that was the color we wanted.  So they painted the entire bathroom Repose Gray, and it ended up looking really beige.  We tried to live with it for a few months and realized that we really needed to change the color.  We decided to go with Gray Tint by Benjamin Moore.  This is also the color we used throughout the entire house.  The new paint makes such a difference, it’s crazy!

As much as I am loving the new paint, the floors are my favorite part of the bathroom.  We went with zebra marble and they are definitely a statement floor. We went simple and clean with the mirrors, the light fixtures, and the faucets and shower head.  I am really happy with the overall look and probably wouldn’t change a thing if I had to do it over again!

It’s been so nice walking and showering in a clean and pretty much brand new bathroom.  I shockingly even have used the tub, so David is really happy about that because he didn’t want to put one in.

Enjoy!
